Best Millionaire Habits
How to become a millionaire is something I am pretty sure most of us want to know. For the sake of my Money Matters Bootcamp ladies, we are studying this one. I know…. what a drag eh?!?!?! So ultimately what you want to do is to start adopting some of the best Millionaire Habits now.
Of course, that’s not all it takes, but this is going to help you get on the right track. When I was working in one of Bob Proctor’s courses, this single Mumma of 6 boys was shown just how the Millionaires become Millionaires. Today though, we are just going to talk about the best millionaire habits that you can start implementing in your life.
So many times we want fast results, and when we set those money goals and don’t reach them by our timeline we so often give up, give up before even giving things a chance to work. Yes, we can get to the stage where money flows to us with so much more ease and grace, you are going to want to put in some work first. Now I am not saying that this work is like the soul-sucking day job…. Oh NO. When you are working on what you are passionate about, working on what you love, believe me, it does not feel like work at all.
There are some habits that we have running that will deter us away from money and some that will support us in receiving… I’ve researched and come up with a list of what is known to be some of the best Millionaire Habits that you can adopt today.
Have a positive mindset
Doesn’t come as much of a surprise that one does it? “Long-term success is only possible when you have a positive mental outlook,” Corley states. “In my research, positivity was a hallmark of all the self-made millionaires.”
The problem for most people is that they’re completely unaware of their thoughts, positive or negative, he explains: “If you stop to listen to your thoughts, to be aware of them, you’d find most of them are negative. But you only realize you are having these negative thoughts when you force yourself to be aware of them. Awareness is the key.”
Of course, through our She IS Unleashed course we show you that it goes deeper than this and actually how you can reprogram your mind so it becomes easier to just be more positive.
They read consistently
Heck, I love this one as ever since I started discovering the power we have inside this is one I dedicated myself to do. Forever study, every single day.
The rich would rather be educated than entertained. As Corley writes, “Eighty-eight percent of the rich devote thirty minutes or more each day to self-education or self-improvement reading … Most did not read for entertainment … The rich read to acquire or maintain knowledge.”Corley found that they tend to read three types of books: biographies of successful people, self-help or personal development, and history. Another great tip Bob Proctor gave us was to also have audio books to listen to all the time while you are driving. All that extra time to learn, never be bored stuck in a traffic jam ever again. I like to think “YES, extra learning time”. So now the traffic never bothers me (unless I need the loo)
Get Up Earlier
Nearly 50% of the self-made millionaires in Corley’s study woke up at least three hours before their workday actually began. It’s a strategy to deal with inevitable daily disruptions, such as a meeting that went too long, egregious traffic, or having to pick up your sick kid from school.
“These disruptions have a psychological effect on us. They can drip into our subconscious and eventually form the belief that we have no control over our life,” Corley writes. “Getting up at five in the morning to tackle the top three things you want to accomplish in your day allows you to regain control of your life. It gives you a sense of confidence that you, indeed, direct your life.”
They have multiple sources of income
This was the biggest eye-opener for me when Bob taught us this. I finally saw how WE CAN.
“Self-made millionaires do not rely on one singular source of income,” Corley states. “They develop multiple streams. Three seemed to be the magic number in my study … Sixty-five percent had at least three streams of income that they created prior to making their first million dollars.”This is something we also work on through in our free group Dreams To Reality Revolution over in Facebook. We get you into the space to receive inspiration and also I tune into your energy and get a plan together mapping out your multiple sources of income.
“Seventy-six percent of the rich aerobically exercise 30 minutes or more every day,” Corley reports. Aerobic exercise includes anything cardio, such as running, jogging, walking, or biking.”Cardio is not only good for the body, but it’s good for the brain,” he writes. “It grows the neurons (brain cells) in the brain … Exercise also increases the production of glucose. Glucose is brain fuel. The more fuel you feed your brain, the more it grows and the smarter you become.”
So this is one that let slip and now I am making sure to add this in. Now I do quite a bit of work sat at the computer, so to even just stick the music on and get up to dance and shake the booty is doing some exercise. It is about finding the ways that we can add this into your life with ease each day.
They don’t follow the herd
I’m sure many of you who come to my site will love this one. So many of us feel we don’t really fit in until we find our tribe. I’m very much big on the fact that to be successful you want to be true to YOU, Who you want to be.
“We so desire to blend in, to acclimate to society, to be a part of the herd, that we will do almost anything to avoid standing out in a crowd,” Corley writes. Yet “failure to separate yourself from the herd is why most people never achieve success.”
Successful people create their own new herd and then pull others into it, Corley says: “You want to separate yourself from the herd, create your own herd, and then get others to join it.”
They mix with like-minded, success driven people
“You are only as successful as those you frequently associate with,” Corley writes. “The rich are always on the lookout for individuals who are goal-oriented, optimistic, enthusiastic, and who have an overall positive mental outlook.”
- It’s equally important to avoid negative people and influences, Corley emphasizes: “Negative, destructive criticism will derail you from pursuing success.”
They find and check in with mentors
Well, I’m sure you know I am a big fan of this one because I am a guide/mentor. This is one of the things that I attribute to my success and continued success. That support has been vital with the forever rising of myself and my business.
“Finding a mentor puts you on the fast track to wealth accumulation,” Corley writes.
“Successful mentors do more than simply influence your life in some positive way,” he continues. “They regularly and actively participate in your success by teaching you what to do and what not to do. They share with you valuable life lessons they learned either from their own mentors or from the school of hard knocks.”
They help others succeed
I also say to celebrate others wins. Don’t get into a pity party wondering when will it be your turn etc… Instead, jump for joy for them and say a massive THANK YOU, that you are seeing just how IT IS POSSIBLE.
“Helping other success-minded people move forward in achieving their goals and dreams helps you succeed,” Corley writes. “No one realizes success without a team of other success-minded people. The best way to create your team is to offer help to other success-minded people first.”
You don’t want to give help to anyone and everyone, Corley notes: “You want to focus on helping only those who are pursuing success, are optimistic, goal-oriented, positive, and uplifting.”
They live within their means
“Wealthy people avoid overspending by paying their future selves first. They save 20 percent of their net income and live on the remaining 80 percent.”
Effective Time Managment
Although Bob Proctor had said, you can not manage time, you manage your projects. This is also some work that we do in the Phoenix Transformation Mastermind. We want to get clear on the plan ahead. What projects have to be done to reach our goals and then get super focused on one task at a time. So many times we are trying to multi-task and then we actually end up wasting sooo much time. I have been there!!!
The night before list down 6 projects that you plan to get done the next day and go all into complete.
Networking is one of the most important habits to have in life. The sayings go, your network is your net worth, and if you lie down with dogs, you’ll definitely come up with fleas. Reach out to others and find out what you can do to add value to their world. Don’t ask for anything in return, especially not right away. Just insert yourself into the mix, and eventually, the opportunities will find you. This has been one of my personal fave’s, I love the buzz you get when you go to events and also retreats. Not only that, the magick and transformation that happens is immense. Each time I personal host or go to an event it is like a catalyst in my own life.
Ok, so this list could keep going on, this is some of the best Millionaire habits I have found so far. Basically, habits that will really uplift your soul and very being. You can write down at least a couple that you will take action on now and put them on your wall as a constant reminder to take that action. This will help you shift into that vibration of abundance. When you work with me you will know why that state of vibration is very important. Should you want to know anymore simply hit the contact me page or apply for a call with me.
If you wanna get your bum shifting hyperspeed into receiving mode we always have our Money Matters 4-week course with group available to purchase. In there you can be sure that you will be supported while you implement the work.
